Manage your privacy choices

We process the data needed to fulfill your order: your name, address, email address and the contents of your order. Visitor statistics are measured without cookies and without a profile; exactly what we record and why is fully explained in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

Some privacy laws, including those of several U.S. states such as California, give you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Studio Miron does not sell personal data. Without your yes, we load nothing from Google, Meta or Microsoft and nothing goes to Meta or Microsoft; for an order, Google Analytics then only receives the order itself, without a cookie or ID that points to you. If you say yes in the cookie banner, Google receives through its measurement code how you use the site and which ad brought you, Meta receives through its pixel which pages and products you view, what you add to your cart and when you start checkout, and a paid order goes server-side to Google and Meta with pseudonymous IDs, without name, email address, postal address or IP address. Google and Meta may also use that data for their own advertising services, under their own terms. Microsoft receives session recordings and heatmaps through Clarity, which we use to improve the site. There is therefore no sale to opt out of, and sharing after a yes stops as soon as you withdraw that yes.

Those state laws work with an opt-out model: sharing may happen until you object. Our practice is stricter than that model requires: nothing goes to Meta or Microsoft, and nothing that points to you goes to Google, without your prior yes in the cookie banner, and saying no there or withdrawing your yes stops it.

In the cookie banner we ask your consent for measurement by Google, Meta and Microsoft Clarity, with one yes or no for all three: Google and Meta measure which ad works, how the site is used and whether a visit leads to a purchase, and Microsoft Clarity makes session recordings and heatmaps so we can improve the site. Only after you say yes may their measurement code load. As long as you choose nothing or say no, nothing loads. If you disagree with how we handle your personal data, you can file a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency (cppa.ca.gov) if you live in California, or with the privacy regulator of your own state. You can also contact the Belgian data protection authority, the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be), since Studio Miron is based in Belgium.
